SSC MTS Exam 2025 application window closes July 24; check key details for Paper, posts, and eligibility

SSC MTS Exam 2025: The SSC MTS Exam 2025 notification was released last month by the Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of Multi-Tasking Staff (MTS) and Havaldar posts in various departments under the Government of India. The online application process is currently live and will remain open until July 24, 2025. Interested candidates should apply as soon as possible to avoid last-minute delays.

This SSC MTS 2025 recruitment drive includes vacancies across multiple zones for both MTS and Havaldar roles in CBIC and CBN under the Department of Revenue. While the SSC MTS zone wise vacancy details for MTS are yet to be finalized, there are 1075 posts already announced for Havaldar.

SSC MTS Paper and Exam Date

The SSC MTS Paper will be conducted in a computer-based format in two sessions. Session-I will cover Numerical Ability and Reasoning, while Session-II will test General Awareness and English. The SSC MTS paper date is scheduled from 20 September to 24 October 2025.

There is no negative marking in Session-I, but Session-II will deduct 1 mark for each wrong answer. The paper will be conducted in English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages.

SSC New Exam Format and Process

Candidates applying under the new process need to complete their One-Time Registration (OTR) on ssc.gov.in. Aadhaar-based authentication is preferred. Applications submitted without the correct OTR will not be accepted. All details, including the new photo guidelines, must be followed strictly.
