Shefali Jariwala’s death raises questions around anti-ageing trends
The timing of Sherawat’s message has caught attention, especially since it came shortly after the tragic passing of Shefali Jariwala. Known for her hit appearance in the remix Kaanta Laga, Jariwala reportedly died of cardiac arrest, though the final cause has not been confirmed.
According to Mumbai police, self-medication and possible food poisoning are being investigated. Anti-ageing tablets and vitamin supplements were recovered from her room, and her family confirmed she had been undergoing such treatments without medical consultation for several years.
Her husband, actor Parag Tyagi, brought her to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital on the night of June 20, where doctors declared her dead on arrival.
