The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has invited online applications for the BPSC Special School Teacher Recruitment 2025. A total of 7279 vacancies have been announced for teaching roles in Classes 1 to 8 across special schools in Bihar.
The application process began on 2 July 2025 and will continue till 28 July 2025. Eligible candidates must fill the form before the deadline on the official website bpsc.bihar.gov.in.
Vacancy breakdown and eligibility
Out of the total 7279 posts under this BPSC Special School Teacher Recruitment 2025, 5334 are for Classes 1 to 5 and 1745 are for Classes 6 to 8.
For Classes 1 to 5, candidates must have completed Class 12 with 50% marks, possess a valid CRR number from the Rehabilitation Council of India, and hold a D.El.Ed. in Special Education or equivalent. Completion of the BSSTET 2023 Paper I is mandatory.
For Classes 6 to 8, the requirement is a Bachelor’s degree with 50% marks, a B.Ed. in Special Education, or an equivalent combination, along with a valid CRR number and successful clearance of BSSTET 2023 Paper I.
In both categories, six months of specialised training in cross-disability is a compulsory qualification.
Application fee and selection process
The application fee is Rs 750 for General, OBC, and EWS categories. Female candidates of Bihar and SC/ST candidates need to pay only Rs 200. Payment can be made through debit/credit card, UPI, or net banking.
