OnePlus Nord 5 Coming To India Next Week | Know Expected Specs & Price

A major upgrade in power, battery life, and design expected under Rs 30,000

The OnePlus Nord 5 is all set to launch in India on July 8, and leaks have already given users a fair idea of what to expect. With just a week left, the hype is building around this mid-range smartphone that may bring flagship-like features at a budget-friendly price.

OnePlus Nord 5 to Feature Snapdragon 8s Gen 3

One of the biggest highlights is the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, officially confirmed by the company. It’s a major step up from the Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 used in the Nord 4, and promises smooth performance, better gaming, and faster multitasking. Though initial rumours hinted at a MediaTek Dimensity chip, OnePlus has stuck with Qualcomm for this device.

Massive 7,000mAh Battery May Be Its Strongest Point

Battery is another area where the OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to shine. Leaks suggest it could pack a 7,000mAh battery, which is rarely seen in this price range. This massive battery is also expected to support 100W wired fast charging, giving it an edge for power users.

Display and Design: Flat OLED and a Fresh Look

The front is expected to feature a flat OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 1.5K resolution. While the exact size is not yet confirmed, it could retain the 6.74-inch screen from the Nord 4 or even be slightly larger.

Design-wise, the Nord 5 will reportedly move away from the dual-tone finish and switch to a vertically placed camera setup. Color options like pale blue and off-white have been teased, hinting at a clean, minimal design.

Expected Camera and Price Details

The camera setup might remain similar to the Nord 4, with a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultrawide lens. A 16MP selfie camera is also expected. While hardware changes are minimal, OnePlus could improve the image quality through software optimisations.

The expected price of the OnePlus Nord 5 is under Rs 30,000, making it a strong contender in the mid-range smartphone segment.
