NASA has announced a new collaboration with Netflix, aiming to make its NASA+ content available on the platform starting this summer. While it’s not a direct streaming service on Netflix, viewers will gain access to select live programming and space-related content curated by NASA.

Space content now coming after NASA Netflix Partnership

Audiences will soon be able to enjoy rocket launches, astronaut spacewalks, and stunning views of Earth from the International Space Station. The goal is to make NASA’s missions and discoveries more accessible to the global public through Netflix’s wide reach.

As part of this effort, the agency is working to ensure people from around the world can witness the excitement of space from the comfort of their homes or phones.

Expanding the reach of NASA+

According to Rebecca Sirmons, general manager of NASA+ at the agency’s headquarters in Washington, this partnership aligns with NASA’s founding principles. She said the agency is committed to a new era of innovation and exploration, connecting with future generations using modern media platforms.

NASA+ will still be available for free without ads through the NASA app and the official NASA website.
